Can you preserve my flowers if I am not local to VA?We are a nationwide company serving anyone who is willing to ship their flowers to us. We provide shipping and flower care instructions to help you in the packaging process!

Can you still preserve my flowers if they are getting old?We can preserve flowers up to 5 days post event. However, we prefer to have them within 3 days of the event, the fresher the better! Flowers tend to preserve better the fresher they are when they hit the press, we enable you with the tools you need to keep your flowers fresh until they reach the press! Some brides have chosen to hang their bouquets to dry and are not sure what to do with them once they are dry. We do offer services to place your pre-dried flowers into a shadow box for display.

What is color correction?Color correction is the art of returning your dried flowers to the vibrant color they resembled while fresh. Typically, colorful blooms hold their color, while white ones tend to turn a vintage look. If you are planning to preserve mostly white flowers we always recommend color correction for the best look in the frame!

What is floating glass?When you book preservation your flowers are being pressed then framed. Like any artwork the flowers have to have a front and back. Our background options are solid black, white or floating glass. Floating glass is your flowers suspended between two pieces of glass giving the illusion they are floating in the frame.

Which frame size should I get for my flowers?Great question! There are several things to consider when deciding on a frame size: - The amount of flowers you are sending for preservation - The wall space you have for the frame - Budget We have created a sizing guide to help you with this selection:

How long does it take to preserve my flowers?From when the flowers reach the press, the finished product will be back to you within 2-4 months. We always aim for closer to 2 months but all flowers are different and some take longer to dry. Some times of year are also busier than others for floral preservation.

How do I get started to preserve my flowers?Our preservation process begins by you filling out our contact form on the website, this gives us enough general information to create and contract and invoice. To reserve your spot in our flower presses, we do require a 50% deposit, and the remaining 50% once your frame is finished. Once the deposit is paid and the contract is signed, you are officially booked! We stay in contact leading up to your event, and throughout the preservation process to keep you updated on your flowers, answering any questions and discussing frame colors, design styles and optional upgrades.

Will the color of my flowers stay vibrant forever?Floral preservation, the process of drying flowers eliminates the moisture from within the flower which can also remove some color pigment. White flowers tend to show this the most by going from pure white to a vintage cream color. However, colored flowers tend to maintain their vibrancy throughout the drying process. We do our best to ensure the color stays by using 99% UV protected glass. Once the flowers are in your possession, there are several things you can do to help maintain your color. - Keep the frame out of direct sunlight - Avoid any rooms with high humidity We include a frame care card with every finished frame to remind you of how to maintain the vibrancy of your flowers.
